SMART kids test three grade levels above the national average!Terra Nova Test Data: Random Samples of BSK Students
Dr. Robert McElrath, Former Tennessee Commissioner of Education, administered the TerraNova test. *All 1st grade Be Smart Kids students who have been in the program for 2.5 years or more ranked at the 99th national percentile. The national average scores for first grade students taking the TerraNova test during November of the first grade is first grade, third month (1.3). The combined average score of the Random Sample for the BSK first grade students was fourth grade, second month (4.2) or three grades above the national average.
