ASSESSMENTS
How to take the Assessments:
Answer “Yes” or “No” to the assessment questions for the level your
child has completed. For example, when your child finishes Be
Smart Kids level 1, Lesson 5, answer the questions in the Be
Smart Kids, Level 1, Assessment. If you answer “Yes” to all the questions your
child should move to the next level. If you answer “No” to any of
the questions, return to the first Lesson of the Be Smart Kids level
you just completed and repeat all of the lessons, teaching one lesson
a week as if beginning again. It is not unusual for a child to repeat
a level. Repeating lessons does not indicate failure.
Be Smart Kids, Level 1
- Is your child’s attention span over 10 minutes?
- Can your child
make a pointer finger?
- Does your child follow directions? Example:
When you point to a key on the keyboard will your child press the
key?
- Can your child click the left mouse button?
